Privacy Policy

  • Privacy policy relating to Login with Facebook

You can log into Cardyard using your Facebook account which saves having to create and remember a password and allows login with one click.

The first time you login with Facebook you will be asked to give Cardyard permission to access some data on Facebook. The only data we fetch from Facebook is:

    • Your Facebook email address - This becomes your login ID
    • Your Facebook name - appears in your profile and how we address you
    • Your Facebook image thumbnail which will then appear in the header of Cardyard as your account thumbnail.

Facebook will then place some cookies in your browser to recognise you the next time you log in with Facebook.

You will also be asked if you would like to receive emails detailing special offers and discounts. You are free to accept or decline the receipt of these emails. You can see the content and frequency of these emails by clicking on news here or below in the footer. Agreeing to receive these emails results in your name being added to our email marketing tool Mailchimp

Our overall privacy policy explains more about the data we collect and process when you use the website, but is mostly repeated here.

You can request data deletion using the Cancel my account button. If you cancel your account then all your data will be destroyed, or will be scrambled to anonymise it, unless or depending on whether it is needed for some legal reason, or is part of a fraud detection process. This includes how you can use data deletion, what happens when you cease being a user, and some information on third parties we use.

We store your information whilst you are a user. Once you cease being a user, your data is scrambled so you cannot be directly identified from it, and then destroyed after 18 months, or once it is no longer needed for purposes of providing our service.

If you respond to a facebook campaign, such as links on a Cardyard Facebook post or advert, this activity and subsequent activity on Cardyard will be tracked and the data collected in Facebook Ads and Analytics through other cookies installed in your browser.
