They can be spent instore and online. For online use, you must enter the card number, security code (a 3 digit number printed next to the magnetic strip) and expiry date. For customer support enquiries, you also need the number on the botton right, and possibly the start date.

There is an online Balance Checker that does not require the security code, and you can also telephone TUI during business hours.

Although the Thomson and First Choice brands are disappearing in favour of TUI, their gift cards will continue to be honoured.

Our eCodes are sold as codes from a plastic card that can only be used online. Gift Cards can also be spent in-store. They can also be used online at tui.co.uk or firstchoice.co.uk. They cannot be used for travel money or travel insurance.

Booking a holiday online with a start date within 12 weeks? TUI require full payment for a holiday if that holiday takes place within 12 weeks, and it is not possible to use two payment methods online. So, if using a gift card, the gift card must have enough funds to cover the entire holiday cost. One solution is to top up the gift card so it has enough funds to cover the holiday. Another solution is go into a store with the gift card where they can take two payment methods.
