Steam Wallet Cards are oversized plastic gift cards with a long wallet code behind a scratch off panel. Once revealed, the wallet code is entered into an online account for a once-only addition of funds to that account's wallet.
How to redeem: you just redeem the code in its entirety into an account where it is used to make online purchases, but once redeemed the value cannot be transferred to another account
How to balance check: There isnt one, you can only redeeem the entire code into an account.
Steam Wallet Cards can be used as cross border gifts, as they can be redeemed into an account in a country with a different currency to the card. This is achieved by an on-the-spot currency conversion into the currency of your wallet. Note that we only accept and sell UK currency cards on Cardyard.
