How to redeem:WHSmith issues plastic gift cards and Kobo branded gift cards. Both types can be spent in store and online at WHSmith.co.uk and online at Kobo. Gift cards last 24 months from purchase and are extended at each balance enquiry or other transaction.

WHSmith also issue promotional gift cards, achievement rewards and book tokens but these cannot be used online. Note that WHSmith no longer issue evouchers, but if you have one you can still spend it.

Bookcards are identical to Gift Cards and you can ignore the written restrictions as WHSmith have assured us they are now just as flexible as Gift Cards.

Achievement Rewards are paper vouchers and may only be exchanged for specific product groups, namely Books, Stationary and Educational CD-ROMS. Single use and change is given to a maximum of 99p in cash. Achievement Rewards never expire.

WHSmith issued gift cards cannot be used in concession stores in motorway service stations or the London Underground, but are good in railway stations and airports.
