Thank you for selling your gift card to Cardyard. Now you have received payment, you are no longer the owner of the gift card. You must not spend the gift card, or allow anybody else to spend it. You have guaranteed the value and expiry date of the card, and if these prove inaccurate you will have to pay us back. Your obligations continue until the value of the gift card has been spent in full, and this may take many months.
If you want to cancel your sale, provided the cards have not been sold already. Go to my account > sell orders > go to the order you want to cancel, it will say “details”. You then just press the red X button.
If the cards have already been sold, there is nothing we can do. Deleting your account will not mean your order has been cancelled.show less
If you want to change the payment method for your sell order you are due to receive payment for, please go into your Cardyard account and go to payment method and save the correct details. Payment details need to be updated 12 hours before payment is due. Payment days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Once payment has been made, we are unable to change this.show less
If you believe you are owed more than what you have been paid please get in contact on email@example.com . Sometimes there are discrepancies between the listed card and validation by us. We will always contact you when this is the case to ensure you are happy to proceed.
For example, a Currys PC World Promotional card is less value than a Currys PC World gift card and it may be listed as a gift card rather than a promotional card and when verifying the order, we will adjust it which will update the correct value.show less
We have a PO Box dedicated to gift cards which separates them from other company mail. The PO Box is operated by Royal Mail and can handle all Royal Mail deliveries such as signed-for and special delivery. The address is:
PO Box 842
Couriers such as dpd, yodel and UPS can't deliver to a PO Box, in which case send to head office:
6 Lyndhurst Road
We are not currently extending our range of shops. If we don't accept a shop for which you have a gift card, feel free to contact us through email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will add it to the list for consideration, but we have no plans to extend the range in the near future.show less

When you list a card for sale on Cardyard, the system calculates the likely payment date based on how long that type of card (retailer and gift card or egift) takes to find a buyer, and adds the two week quarantine period.
Each night, the system re-estimates how long to receive payment since it may not sell as quickly as we expect.
Once the card is bought, an actual scheduled date is set as two weeks from the purchase date, give or take according to weekends and bank holidays. This date could be sooner or later than the previous estimated date.show less
After a buyer has purchased your unwanted gift card, you have to wait 2 weeks before you receive payment for that gift card, also called the quarantine period.
This period is to allow the buyer to check the card and spend it. You are still liable for the balance on the gift card after this period and it is very important that you take care of the gift card codes and do not allow anybody else to see them. The buyer can still make a claim after this two week period, but at least they have had a clear period before you get paid.
